The PDS project, in collaboration with the National Commission for Lebanese Women (NCLW), organized a workshop on the 6th of October 2009 about “The role of women in facing the impact of the global economic crisis on development in Lebanon”. This workshop is part of the PDS project activities fo the World Population Day (WPD) 2009 which has the theme “Responding to the Economic Crisis: Investing in Women is a Smart Choice”. The workshop was held on Tuesday, 6 October 2009 at the Crown Plaza Hotel - Hamra and the invitees represenedt the different ministries, international organizations, NGOS and research institutions.
