Every year, following the end of year retreat, the PDS team develops an Annual Workplan based on identified shortfalls and lessons learned. This Workplan is submitted to MOSA and UNFPA for review and approval.
The PDS Annual Workplans define priorities and steps for the implementation of the PDS activities and are prepared in line with:
• The PDS Project Document
• Emerging needs
• The achievements of the precedent year
The Annual Workplan outlines the activities planned against outputs and indicators identified in the initial Country Programme logframe. It also defines clear tasks and responsibilities of the PDS staff members and a detailed timeline for execution of the activities.
The Annual Workplans are a key part of the evaluation and monitoring mechanism of the PDS programme.
In addition, quarterly detailed workplans are developed to ensure close follow up on the implementation of all planned activities. These quarterly workplans are discussed and modified as needed during weekly PDS staff meetings.
